What We Do

At Island Farmhouse Poultry, we believe that when you’re committed to a local cause, you care more – not just about what it is but also about who’s involved. For more than a decade, we’ve applied that belief to every aspect of our business, supporting local farms and local consumers.

When you purchase products bearing the Island Farmhouse Poultry label, you know you’re getting the very best for your family.

Our Island-fresh, locally-grown poultry products have been processed in our provincially-inspected poultry plant. Located on Vancouver Island, it was the first facility in British Columbia to meet stricter new provincial meat inspection laws.

Island Farmhouse Poultry is committed to supporting local, small scale poultry farmers by giving them access to a fully compliant processing facility. At the same, we’re also supporting Island consumers by providing them with a variety of locally-grown poultry products from select local grocers. We know today’s consumers are demanding more from their food suppliers: they want to know where food is grown and processed and they’re concerned about protecting the local food supply. By purchasing Island Farmhouse Poultry products, Island residents are helping to support local farms while keeping the agricultural industry viable.

Locally raised, locally processed, locally available: it’s what we believe in. It’s how we do business.
